Paying my bill online

The most convenient way to pay your bill is by pre-authorized payment from your bank account. Your bill will be automatically paid on time, every time.

Pre-authorized payments help you save time and late fees.

How it works
  • You will continue to receive monthly statements detailing all charges and changes (if any) to your bill.
  • The total amount due is deducted automatically from your bank account every month, 18 days after your statement billing date.
  • Pre-authorized payments take one to two bill cycles to get set up in our system.
How to sign up

You can sign up in a few simple steps. All you will need is your banking information, a MyBell profile, and a recent bill.

  1. Upon logging in to MyBell and accessing your current bill page, select the Pay now button.
  2. Select Set up pre-authorized payments.
  3. Select Pay through my bank for your payment method.
  4. Enter your bank account details (account holder name, transit number, bank name and account number).

  5. Select Continue to review.
  6. Review the pre-authorized payment information and select Submit.

Please make a one-time payment if you have an outstanding balance on your current bill. Your pre-authorized payments will take one to two bill cycles to get set up in our system.

Please note: if you already have pre-authorized payments set up, you can manage your pre-authorized payments through the payment lightbox. For example, you can change your bank information or cancel pre-authorized payments.

You can set up regular pre-authorized payments from the credit card of your choice.

With pre-authorized credit card payments, your bill will be paid automatically – on time, every time.

How it works
  1. Each month, we automatically charge the total amount of your monthly bill to the credit card you have provided.
  2. Your credit card will be charged within four business days after the bill date.
How to sign up

You can sign up in a few easy steps. All you will need is your credit card information, a MyBell profile, and a recent bill.

  1. Upon logging in to MyBell and accessing your current bill page, select the Pay now button.
  2. Select Set up pre-authorized payments.
  3. Select Pay by credit card for your payment method.
  4. Enter your credit card details (cardholder name, card number, expiry date and card security code).
  5. Select Continue to review.
  6. Review the pre-authorized payment information and select Submit.

Please make a one-time payment if you have an outstanding balance on your current bill. Your pre-authorized payments will take one to two bill cycles to get set up in our system.

Please note: if you already have pre-authorized payments set up, you can manage your pre-authorized payments through the payment window.

Changes and cancellations

You can make changes to your pre-authorized credit card plan by logging in to MyBell. You or Bell can cancel your pre-authorized payment agreement at any time, with proper notification.

  • Upon termination of your pre-authorized payment agreement, any balance owing must be paid directly to Bell.
  • Cancelling your pre-authorized payments does not cancel your Bell services and you are responsible for any past, present or future amounts owing.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card information you provide us is up to date and accurate. If your credit card expires while you are subscribed to the pre-authorized credit card plan, you must notify us right away to keep your account in good standing.
  • Please allow 10 to 15 days for us to process your agreement or update.

Accepted credit cards:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express

Note: prepaid and debit cards are not accepted for pre-authorized credit card payments.

Pay online by making a payment through your bank.

  1. Upon logging in to MyBell and accessing your current bill page, select the Pay now button.
  2. Under Other payment options, locate the Through your bank option.
  3. Select Copy to copy the Customer ID number displayed in blue.
  4. Select Pay through your bank.
  5. Select your financial institution.
  6. You will be redirected to your financial institution’s website to add Bell as a payee. You’ll need to provide the Customer ID number that you had copied.

Pay online using a credit card.

  1. Upon logging in to MyBell and accessing your current bill page, select the Pay now button.
  2. Under Other payment options, select Pay by credit card.
  3. Enter your credit card details (cardholder name, card number, expiry date and card security code).
  4. If you would like to save this card for future payments, select the Save my card toggle located below the card detail fields.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Review the information and select Submit.

Please allow up to 24 hours for credit card payments to be applied.

Please use the instructions provided on the remittance slip attached to your bill.

  1. Upon logging in to MyBell and accessing your current bill page, select Payment options.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Notify Bell of a payment.
  3. Enter the amount of the payment you made and select the method of payment you used. Then select Continue to review.
  4. Review the information and select Submit to complete the notification.

In order to avoid getting your services suspended, we recommend that you make a payment in full before the bill’s due date. If this is not possible, you have the option of setting up a payment arrangement through MyBell if your account balance is past due.

To set up a payment arrangement through MyBell:

  1. Login to MyBell
  2. Under Pay your bill, click Make a payment arrangement (this will only appear if the account has an overdue amount)
  3. From Payment arrangement window:
    1. Check Current balance and Overdue amount of Bill section.
    2. Select number of installments.
    3. Enter amount to be paid for First installment.
    4. Choose from calendar icon Date of payment.
    5. Choose a payment method.
    6. Click Continue to review button.
  4. From Payment information window:
    1. Repeat steps for subsequent installments
    2. Click Continue to review button.
  5. From Review and submit window:
    1. Click on Edit button if changes required for Installment & payment information.
    2. Click on Submit button.

Note: your payment arrangement may be disabled for any of the following reasons:

  • Account is cancelled/closed
  • 2 or more returned payments in 30 days
  • 2 or more failed payment arrangements in 30 days
  • Any credit card chargeback within 6 months
